Olive Young Korea shopping guide

Beauty, without the guesswork. Match the name, shade and pack.

Start with the product, then choose the version

A useful Olive Young list contains more than a brand name. Write down the Korean name, the shade or formula you want, and the bottle size or number of pieces. Our four references below give you a starting point for comparing beauty products during a Korea trip. They are editorial selections, not a bestseller ranking or a report of products we have personally tested.

The linked Olive Young Global listings identify online versions. A Korean shop can carry a different single product, special edition or promotional bundle. Match what is in your hand to the shelf label before assuming that two packages are the same. The same brand name does not guarantee the same formula or set contents.

A checklist for the beauty aisle

  1. Show the Korean name. Open the product guide below and copy the name. Pair it with a product photo so staff can distinguish similar lines.
  2. Match the exact option. For a lip tint, check the printed shade number as well as the colour name. For skincare, compare the formula name and volume. Testers and store lighting can affect how a colour appears.
  3. Count the contents. A two-bottle sun-care set, a serum bundle and a ten-sheet mask pack are different purchase units. Compare the full shelf price and contents, rather than the largest number on a promotion card.
  4. Read the pack you will buy. Ingredients, directions and use-by information belong to that particular version. If you have an ingredient restriction, ask to inspect the actual label.
  5. Keep your receipt. Ask the shop about its return conditions and any tourist tax-refund process before paying. We have not verified eligibility or refund terms for a particular branch.

Choose for your trip, not a trend headline

If you only want one item, start with the product category you already use and compare its exact version. If you are buying gifts, think about the recipient's preferences and whether the set is intended to be split. Avoid guessing suitability from packaging colour, an online review, or a generic claim about a country or skin type.

Before you leave for the store

Save the reference names on this device and check the official retailer links. Plan the branch around your itinerary, then confirm its hours and availability separately. We do not show live Korean shelf prices or promise branch stock. You can also compare Daiso souvenir categories and MUSINSA clothing checks before building a mixed shopping list.
